Lyndon House Announcements

  • The Lyndon House will be hosting a new Sunday Center Market at The Classic Center’s new Pavilion every Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. starting May 3rd and running through October. It is an opportunity for artists and craft vendors to sell their items to the public, and also for the Athens Community to experience all things Athens on Sunday summer afternoons.   • In celebration of 40 years of Art in Downtown Athens, The Lyndon House Arts Center is introducing a new exhibition program, the Lounge Gallery. It will feature quarterly solo exhibitions by emerging artists. Artists in the beginning stages of their careers will be invited to show wall-bound works in mediums alternating from drawing to painting to photography to printmaking. Work from Lucas Underwood, a recent UGA MFA graduate, will be exhibited from May 12 – August 8, 2015. The opening reception will be Thursday, May 21, 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm

Bob Woodall

Bob Woodall is an outdoor nature and wildlife photographer. He will be sharing about what it takes to photograph in Yellowstone National Park in the Winter.

Kidd Fielteau
Kidd Fielteau is a self taught photographer who picked up a camera in 2011 and fell in love with the art a year later. It is all he has done since. Kidd’s topic will be Working With Models.

Larry Petroff

Warren Flick

Warren Flick writes a blog on retirement (www.laterlivingblog.com), volunteers for Meals on Wheels, and shoots for OnlineAthens as a Spotted photographer. He is a retired forestry professor and lawyer. Warren will be sharing about A Spotted Life in Photography.
