Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at
the Lyndon
House Arts Center. Please come out, bring a friend, and experience
the benefits of joining our group.
The Athens Photography Guild
We are a gathering of photographers with a wide range
of interests and experience in photography. Some are just getting started
and others have significant experience.
APG was started to draw together photographers in the
community with a dedicated interest in photography. The group retains
the common interest of challenging their creativity and having the opportunity
to meet with other others that may have a similar photographic interest.
During the year there are speakers presenting subjects
of broad, significant interest. We are presently planning half-day or
evening workshops that will be available to members for a nominal fee.
Meetings are informal with discussions and occasional presentations.
At the Guild meetings, questions are encouraged. What happens when?
Why is it that? How do you make? What is the best way to? What happens
when you use color film that is 5 years out of date, but kept in the refrigerator?
Come to the meeting with your questions. Maybe someone
can answer the question, "How do you make a profit in photography?"
